Manami Yoshii
Manami Yoshii (Japanese: 吉井愛美 Hepburn: Yoshii Manami, born November 11, 1981 in Tokyo, Japan) is a well-known Japanese adult video actress.
Life and career
Yoshii's first AV was the November 2000 release, Growing Up Journal.[1] Water Fruit (December 2000) was Yoshii's second adult video. Like her first release, it was made for the KUKI studio.Template:Fix/category[citation needed] When asked what was the most difficult thing she's had to do for an AV, Yoshii responded, "I guess it was when I had to play a character that didn't fit me. It felt really awkward to say those lines."[2]
Of submissive roles in AVs, Yoshii says, "I'm really bad at playing the seductress role. I'm definitely more of a masochist than a sadist." Although she later added, "Being a sadist is fun too."[2] On December 15, 2001 she appeared in an episode of the TV Asahi detective series Mixed Bathing Rotemburo Serial Murders (Konyoku Rotenburo Renzoku Satsujin 元祖！混浴露天風呂連続殺人(21)) along with fellow AV Idol Kokoro Amano.[3]
Yoshii also appeared in her own entry in the Moodyz interracial series Black Semen in L.A..[4]
