'Caligula: The Deviant Emperor' (original Italian title: Caligola - Follia del Potere; Template:Trans "Caligula - Madness of Power") is a 1997 adult film directed by Joe D'Amato (under the pseudonym Raf De Palma)
Plot
Caligula, an ambitious and depraved madman, is the head of one of the largest and most powerful empires in ancient history. In search of ever stronger and forbidden emotions, he transforms the magnificent Imperial Palace into a place of vice and pleasure, where lustful parties follow one another without stopping.
Reception
On the erotic website, rame.net, the film was described as middle of the road with lots of bad acting, some anal and lots of facials.[1]
and on the site CAVR.com, the film received a score of 8.88, earning it the rating of XXX Pro.[2]
