Ava Vincent
Ava Vincent (born September 29, 1975), formerly known as Jewel Valmont, is an American former pornographic actress.[1]
Early life
Vincent is from Marin County in Northern California.[2] She graduated from San Joaquin Delta College with a theatre arts degree.[3] She was a manager at an adult bookstore called Suzy's in Stockton, California prior to joining the adult industry.[4][5]
Career
Vincent entered the adult film industry in 1998.[6] She initially used the stage name "Jewel Valmont" until 2000 when she changed it to "Ava Vincent."[7] Later that year, she filmed a couple of B movies titled Illicit Temptations and Hollywood Fantasies and was reportedly signed to do another one titled Sexual Intentions.[8] She also had a small role in Fast Sofa in which she has simulated sex with Jennifer Tilly, whose character in the film is a porn star.[9] While working at Suzy's, Ava met Samantha Style, who was a customer. Samantha introduced Ava to Seymore Butts, who directed Ava's first scene.[10]
Vincent was among the adult industry workers interviewed in 2001 for Fluffy Cumsalot, Porn Star, a mainstream documentary film about the origin of porn stage names.[11]
Vincent was the Penthouse Pet of the Month for August 2001.[12] That same month, she signed a five-year exclusive agreement with Topco Sales to endorse and develop sex toys.[13]
Personal life
Vincent married pornographic actor John Decker in Las Vegas on July 2, 2001.[14]
